Application Deadlines

We are delighted you are applying to the Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing! Below are the deadlines for all of the options. Applications materials should be postmarked by the deadline. Baccalaureate Program

Early Decision Deadline:
November 1 - Accelerated Option and Traditional Option

Regular Decision Deadlines:

November 15 - Accelerated Option
January 15 - Traditional Option

Master's Program

May 1 - for summer entry (except MSN/MPH)
August 1 - for fall entry
December 1 - for spring entry

Special deadlines:
February 15 - Clinical Nurse Specialist Women's Health / Nurse Midwifery
December 1 - for MSN/MPH July entry (Application must be completed by this date)

Post-Degree Options

Admission is on a rolling basis. On average, it takes the Admissions Committee approximately one month to six weeks to reach a decision upon receipt of a completed application.

PhD Program

Scholarship consideration is given to those who apply by January 15.

DNP Program

March 16, 2009 - for fall 2009 (Application must be completed by this date)

Post-Doctoral Fellowship

Applicants must be notified by a SON faculty member agreeing to provide mentorship.

The dates listed for receipt of applications are preferred, unless otherwise indicated. The Admissions Committees will review applications that are received beyond the dates indicated on a case by case basis.
